Kiel fought 1-1 – Nuremberg hit aluminum twice
Holstein Kiel fought a valuable draw in the promotion of the 2nd German Bundesliga at FC Nürnberg. Thanks to the 1: 1 (0: 1) on Tuesday evening in the catch-up game of the 29th matchday, the Kielers moved up to one point on the HSV in relegation place three. Because of their compulsory break after a corona quarantine, the Kielers still have two games up their sleeves.
Four days before her Cup semi-final at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, Janni Serra (67th) equalized the Nuremberg lead by Dennis Borkowski (31st). The hosts were unlucky with two aluminum hits. Georg Margreitter played through in the Nuremberg defense, offensive player Nikola Dovedan came on after about an hour. Kiel had the bigger share of the game, but was not necessarily enough on the offensive to win in the end.
