The People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 5th and 6th convocations was found guilty of premeditated murder and sentenced to 15 years in prison. The prosecutor's office did not disclose the name, but it obviously refers to Alexander Shepelev. In particular, UNN journalists write about this.

What happened

The prosecutor's office proved in court that Shepelev organized the deliberate murder of the head of the supervisory board of AvtoKrazBank, Sergey Kirichenko. It is reported that he was killed by prior conspiracy of a group of people for mercenary reasons.

In turn, Shepelev eliminated the banker as a competitor in the provision of banking services, since he himself was the owner of a closed joint-stock company.

Note that the murder took place in 2003. For a long time, the attackers managed to avoid punishment. The murder was solved in 2012. After that, Shepelev was hiding from justice from 2013 to 2018.

It should also be recalled that this is not the only murder ordered by Shepelev.

What punishment was imposed by the court

The People's Deputy was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all personal property, except for housing.

By the way, recently the Galitsky District Court appointed three years of probation to the minibus driver Viktor Shebarshinov, who knocked down two nuns at a pedestrian crossing Latin Cathedral. Then one of the downed women caught on the body of the transport with her clothes – the driver pulled her to the final stop for 7 kilometers. The nun died from her injuries.
