< strong _ngcontent-sc88="">Aleksey Reznikov met with German deputies from the CDU/CSU faction who arrived on a working visit to Kyiv. The Minister of Defense told the foreign guests about the situation in Ukraine.
The German delegation arrived headed by the Acting Head of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee Thomas Erndl. Reznikov thanked them for the assistance that Germany provides to Ukraine.
How was the meeting of politicians
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said that our state received PzH-2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, anti-tank systems, man-portable air defense systems, vehicles, medical equipment and military personal protective equipment from Germany.
Reznikov noted that the help of partners is gradually changing the course of hostilities. The Russian army has much more resources, they use heavy weapons and aircraft. To resist the invaders, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need weapons from NATO countries, in particular, long-range artillery.
After the meetings in the Ramstein format, I talked with my colleague, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht . We talked about obtaining the necessary weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We have progress. However, we are interested in accelerating the supply of weapons from your country. This would strengthen our Defense Forces,” Reznikov said.
The Minister told the German politicians about the situation at the front
- The Russian army lost more than 30,000 soldiers in Ukraine, and at least 90,000 were wounded. The military-political leadership of the aggressor state passes many infidels as “lost” so as not to pay monetary compensation to their families.
- The enemy army wants to enter the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in order to get a land corridor to the occupied Crimea.< /li>
- The territory of neighboring Belarus is being used for missile attacks on Ukraine.
- Reznikov also commented on the words of French President Emmanuel Macron, who said that “Putin needs to save face.” The head of the Ministry of Defense stressed that after the atrocities of the Russian army, it is already too late.
We are defending our lands, fighting for freedom, defending the entire European continent. Let's just defeat the enemy together,” Reznikov called.
In response, the Bundestag deputies expressed their solidarity with the Ukrainians and assured of further support.
