Russia cynically violates all probable norms of international law. Now the invaders want to force Ukrainian prisoners to donate blood for the Russian military.

A corresponding initiative was proposed in the State Duma of Russia

Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that the corresponding initiative was proposed in the State Duma Russia. The enemy wants to force the captured Ukrainian military to donate blood for the wounded invaders.

According to Denisova, this fact testifies to the analogy of Nazi atrocities in concentration camps during World War II.

This practice of forced donation was common in Nazi concentration camps. The surviving prisoners of Buchenwald recalled that they took blood for Wehrmacht soldiers, while people were starved and forced to work. – noted the Ombudsman.

Denisova stressed that Russia is grossly violating Article 26 of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
