The Ministry of Infrastructure reacted to the detention of Vasily Lozinsky. The department says that the official will be fired from the posts of the first deputy head of the Ministry of Community Development and the acting head of the department.

The Ministry of Infrastructure says that the Ministry of Community Development is fully cooperating with the investigation, which is now ongoing. The official himself, detained on a bribe, will lose his post.

Kubrakov reacted to the detention of Lozinsky

The Ministry of Infrastructure reported that the Deputy Prime Minister Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov has already ordered to prepare the necessary for the dismissal of Vasily Lozinsky from his post.

Vasily Lozinsky will be dismissed from his post. The corresponding order on the preparation of the necessary documents has already been provided by the Vice Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Ministry of Infrastructure said.

In May 2020, Vasily Lozinsky became the first deputy of the then head of the Ministry of Community Development Oleksiy Chernyshev, and after after the fact that in November 2022 the minister headed NJSC Naftogaz, became the acting head of the department.

A criminal case was opened against the official under two articles at once – on abuse of power or official position, which led to grave consequences, and on the acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of illegal benefits by an official in a large amount.

It is reported that the investigation of the case has been ongoing since October 2022. The official was detained by NABU detectives.
