French President Emmanuel Macron has introduced a nationwide quarantine. TASS reports his words.
Quarantine is introduced throughout France from October 30 to December 1. Public institutions, universities will be closed, private meetings and rallies will be limited. At the same time, kindergartens, schools, colleges and lyceums will remain open, sanitary measures in them will be strengthened.
In addition, the president predicted difficulties in the country due to the second wave of coronavirus. In his opinion, it will be heavier and more deadly than the first.
Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the introduction of strict quarantine. The restrictions will come into effect on November 2.
