The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively preparing for a counteroffensive. To conduct offensive operations, the Ukrainian military needs at least millions of shells.

Hetman noted that Europe was not preparing for a war in Ukraine, so their industry is not ready to switch to a military footing and increase the production of weapons and shells, in particular.
We may not have prepared for war, as we are accused, but our partners did not either. If we were prepared, we could now very quickly rebuild our industry on a war footing and provide us with everything we need within 2-3 weeks, he believes.
The military analyst emphasized that the United States has very quickly increased the production of ammunition by 10 times. He stressed that for a successful counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at least a million shells are required.
