Worrying winter ahead
Dicarlo noted that the approach of winter is of concern, since there are no guarantees as to whether all Ukrainians will be provided with warmth, a roof over their heads and medical care.
The UN Deputy Secretary General noted that in order to resolve issues related to heat supply, housing and medical care, the humanitarian community is focusing on strengthening local and national systems for providing housing, social protection and economic coverage.
Residents of Donbass are preparing to evacuate due to a new threat
Due to hostilities there is no gas supply in the Donetsk region, therefore, there are threats to the local population during the autumn-winter period, since there will be no heat supply.
Therefore, the Minister of Reintegration, Irina Vereshchuk, announced preparations for the evacuation of the region's residents to the central and western regions.
The Minister explained that if you do not evacuate from the Donetsk region, when possible, then there is a risk of not only being without electricity and water, but about eating without heat, but also without communications, medicines, food and under shelling.
