More than 948 children have already suffered from Russia's war against Ukraine

The number of children affected by Russia's aggression is gradually increasing. Currently, their number is more than 948 people.

Russia has already killed 338 Ukrainian children, and injured at least 610 people. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on June 24.

About 950 children suffered at the hands of the occupiers

More than 948 children suffered in Ukraine during 4 months of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation in our state. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 338 children died and more than 610 were injured, the report says.

Over the past 24 hours, 14 dead and 17 injured children have become known. On June 23, a 13-year-old boy was injured as a result of a phosphorus bomb explosion in the Sumy region. He received custody of the legs with a phosphorus substance.

On the same day, Russian invaders fired on civilian infrastructure in Chuguev, Kharkiv region. Two children aged 9 and 6 were injured there. In the Luhansk region, too, there were victims. On June 23, infidels attacked Lisichansk from artillery, as a result of which a child was wounded. In the course of fixing criminal offenses, it became known about the death of 5 children in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region. 5 more minors were wounded there.

Juvenile prosecutors are gradually reporting on the victims in Mariupol. It turned out that from March to May, 9 children were killed and 8 more were injured. This happened during the shelling of residential buildings in the city by the invaders.

Children suffered the most in the following areas:

  • Kharkiv – 177;
  • Kyiv – 116;
  • Chernihiv – 68;
  • Lugansk – 55;
  • Kherson – 52;
  • Mykolaiv – 48;
  • Zaporozhye – 31;
  • Sumy – 17.
