Moscow court fined Google 6 million rubles

The Magistrates' Court of the Tagansky District of Moscow fined Google 6 million rubles for refusing to delete information that is prohibited by Russian law, TASS reports.

The press service of the court noted that the company was found guilty in several administrative cases. It adds that on Tuesday, eight more protocols will be considered in relation to Facebook.

Earlier it became known that the American company Google LLC first filed a lawsuit against Roskomnadzor after its demand to block links to illegal content on Youtube.

The department, in turn, said that they are ready for proceedings. They also did not rule out that due to insufficient removal of materials with prohibited information, Google traffic may be slowed down.
