Treatment of the “Indian” strain of coronavirus does not differ from the methods of treatment of other strains of COVID-19, said Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.
According to the head of the Ministry of Health, now Russian specialists are studying the features of the “Indian” strain. The schemes of his treatment will be adjusted, reports TASS.
“There is no cardinal specific therapy in the treatment of coronavirus,” the minister said.
As the website kp.ru wrote, the head of the World Health Organization Tedros Adanom Ghebreyesus said about the danger of new strains of coronavirus for the unvaccinated.
Earlier, the WHO decided to name new strains of coronavirus with the letters of the Greek alphabet to make the system for naming mutations simple and the names of mutations easy to pronounce and remember. So, the “Indian” strain of the coronavirus will be called “delta”, and the “British” – “alpha”.
