Murashko announced the safety of the Sputnik V vaccine for pregnant women

The head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that data on the safety of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine for pregnant women had been obtained.

“Safety data for pregnant women have already been obtained,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Murashko clarified that changes are currently being made to the instructions for use for this category of patients.

Earlier, the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamaleya of the Ministry of Health of Russia reported that there were no serious side effects from vaccination with Sputnik V among pregnant women.
