NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg believes that Russia has begun preparations for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He expressed this opinion in an interview with the German TV channel ARD, reports TASS.

“All markers point to the fact that Russia is preparing a full-scale attack,” the NATO Secretary General said.

Earlier, Stoltenberg during the Munich Conference said that the desire of the Russian leadership to reduce the presence of NATO forces at its own borders would only lead to the opposite effect. “If the Kremlin’s goal is to have less NATO on its borders, then it will only get more NATO,” Stoltenberg said.

Reports of “Russia's plans to invade Ukraine” appeared in the US media in the fall of 2021. They were quickly picked up by American and Ukrainian politicians. Against the background of these statements, Kiev managed to achieve new deliveries of weapons from NATO countries. Moscow denies reports of aggressive plans against Ukraine.
