NATO must increase arms production in 2023 for Ukraine, – Stoltenberg

Ukraine's needs to counter Russian aggression are increasing. It is not known how long the war will continue.

This was said on January 1 by Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Jens Stoltenberg.

“For example , for artillery we need a huge amount of ammunition, we need spare parts. We need to increase production and this is what the allies are doing,” Stoltenberg said.

NATO Secretary General added that systems maintenance is also needed weapons that have already been provided to Ukraine. According to him, this is just as important as the supply of additional weapons.

According to the NATO Secretary General, Ukraine needs a victory for peace in Europe. Consequently, he urged partners to continue to provide arms in the long term.
