French Nice is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was announced by the mayor of the city, Christian Estrosi.

“Nice, our city, which we love so much, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List,” the politician wrote on Twitter.

He called it a historical event, unique in the history of the city in terms of its scale.

Earlier, the profile committee of UNESCO excluded Liverpool from the World Heritage List. The reason was “the irreversible loss of characteristics that indicate the outstanding universal value of this object.”
