134,000 applications are already in the Huawei branded system
Devices moving to HarmonyOS 2.0 are known to retain apps and data, with the exception of Google services. Today it became clear how many applications have already been ported to Huawei's proprietary operating system.
The Chinese company also announced that more than 4 million developers have joined the Harmony platform. 134 thousand applications already use the HMS Core mobile services ecosystem. HMS Core itself continues to evolve, and version 6.0 was recently released with enhanced support for Huawei's cloud services.
The company is also actively recruiting new developers to work with its ecosystem. It's worth noting that Huawei is already claiming that HarmonyOS has become the third largest mobile ecosystem in the world. Whether this is true or not is not yet clear.
