Occupiers are waiting for a

The Russian occupiers repeatedly complained about the lack of ammunition. Now they have reduced the intensity of shelling. In the summer of 2023, Russia is waiting for a “shell stroke”, there will be a serious turning point in the war in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Petr Chernik on Channel 24 . According to him, now the Russians can produce about 4,000 ammunition per day, although before the full-scale invasion they had 15-20 million different types of ammunition.

In the summer there will be a turning point in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Chernik noted that now, at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the United States produced up to 13,000 155-millimeter ammunition per month, and now this figure is 20,000. In the summer of 2023, the Americans plan to produce 50,000 shells monthly.

Russia can still produce a maximum of 4 thousand ammunition per day, although before the war it had more than the United States, the military expert emphasized.

“Now everything rests solely on stocks that were before the invasion. Then they had from 15 to 20 million shells of various calibers. This is a lot. The Americans at that time had them within 2.5 million,” he explained.

Petr Chernik recalled that in the summer of 2022, the invaders placed artillery ramparts and used from 45,000 to 80,000 ammunition per day. Now the enemy uses 15 thousand shells a day.

In my opinion, if they cannot convince the Chinese that they need to provide ammunition of such calibers, then in the summer they will have a “shell stroke.” And we will reach the figures of 15 thousand per day of the use of ammunition. By the autumn we will have an advantage, these are the prerequisites for a serious turning point in the war, – the military expert believes.
