What is the situation in the south of Ukraine: data from OK “South”

August 29 Armed Forces Ukraine went on a counteroffensive in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson – they managed to break through the first line of defense of the enemy. Also, our defenders destroyed a lot of enemy equipment, reports the Operational Command “South”.

Yes, the department stressed that the situation in this operational zone is stably tense. The enemy continues combat operations at the tactical level, trying to rotate units. The demonstration of force is carried out with the help of aviation – during the day it unsuccessfully attacked the positions of the Ukrainian military 5 times.

Last night, our artillery units defeated 13 enemy command posts in the Kherson, Berislav and Kakhov regions.

< p>The positions of the enemy's air defense were attacked by six air strikes by various means of air attack.

Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the crossing of Russians across the Dnieper near the village of Lvov in the Beryslavsky district of the Kherson region.

In addition, a number of samples of Russian equipment were destroyed:

• 2 T-72 tanks
• 11 howitzers ” Msta-B”
• 3 multiple launch rocket systems “Grad” and Uragan”
• heavy flamethrower system “Soncepek”

• 120 mm mobile mortar
• self-propelled howitzers “Acacia” ” and “Msta-S”
• anti-tank guided missile
• 6 armored vehicles
• 3 ammunition depots in the area of ​​Berislav, Vysokopolya, Antonovka.

A total of 30 pieces of equipment and 82 Russians are mentioned. At the same time, the final losses of the enemy are being investigated.

What else is known about the situation in the South

On the night of August 29, the occupying troops attacked the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog regions. We hit Nikopol, Marganets and the Krasnogrigoryevsk community. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

More than 10 houses, a temple, an enterprise, power lines and gas pipelines were damaged in Krasnogrigorievka. The industrial zone of Marganets was fired upon by Grad multiple rocket launchers. And in the Krivoy Rog region, the enemy covered the Zelenodolsk community with fire.

Days were restless in the Nikolaev region as well. There, in the morning, the enemy fired heavy artillery at the port infrastructure.

In the afternoon, sixteen S-300 anti-aircraft missiles were massively shelled in Nikolaev. It led to numerous destruction and damage to private and multi-apartment buildings, transport infrastructure facilities. Two people were killed, 24 civilians were injured.

In the evening, Bashtansky district was attacked by two similar missiles.
