In Afghanistan, as a result of an air strike, one of the leaders of the Taliban terrorist organization (banned in the Russian Federation), Aziz-Rahman, who was also known as Azifa, was liquidated.

This was reported by representatives of the country's Ministry of Defense on the ministry's official Twitter page.

According to the ministry, Aziz-Rahman was involved in “the killing of innocent civilians and many acts of a terrorist nature” in the province of Laghman.

The operation to liquidate him took place in the Alingar district.

Note that last night in the Afghan province of Logar, the head of the intelligence of the terrorist movement Kari Shagasi was also destroyed.

Prior to this, the security forces liquidated in Afghanistan one of the leaders of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group (an organization banned in Russia), Abu Mukhsin al-Masri. He was included in the FBI's list of the most wanted terrorists.
