During the day on April 8, Ukrainian pyrotechnicians seized and defused 5,600 explosive items. Among them, there were 78 air bombs.

The State Emergency Service reported that pyrotechnic units attracted 156 calls per day.

The results of the work of pyrotechnicians

< p> During the day on April 8, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service discovered, seized and neutralized 5,600 explosive items, including 78 aerial bombs. They surveyed an area of ​​543.28 hectares.

The pyrotechnicians worked most actively in the following areas:

• Kharkovskaya – 2,141 times,
• Nikolaevskaya – 1 057,
• Donetsk – 274,
• Kiev – 417,
• Sumy – 195.

Total since the beginning of large-scale Russia's military invasion has already defused 43,376 explosive items and 417 kilograms of explosives, including 1,444 aerial bombs. An area of ​​6,533 hectares was surveyed.

The State Emergency Service emphasized that if a suspicious object or explosive is found, the rescuers should immediately be informed about this.
