The “ORF” picked out the wrong Ukraine club. A player from Shakhtar Donetsk suddenly appeared at the Europa League qualifier.
The public broadcaster broadcast on Thursday evening the second leg in the play-off for the Europa League between the Green-Whites and Sorja Luhansk, which the Hütteldorfer won 3-2 after the 3-0 home win with a total score of 6: 2 rose to the Europa League group stage – for the ninth time.
In the half-time break, the “ORF” then faded in the intermediate result of 1: 2, and placed the logos of the two clubs. And the goal scorers. On the part of the Hütteldorfer Marco Grüll, who had shot Green-White 1-0 in the front in the tenth minute, and Leo Greiml, who added 2-0 in the 15th minute, faded in.
Luhansk scorer Oleksandr Gladkyi was also seen. In the wrong jersey, however. The 34-year-old was shown in the orange-black-striped shirt of the league competitor Shakhtar Donetsk. The ORF had mistaken the association.
Gladkyi played for Shakhtar, but that was several years ago. The Ukrainian was under contract for the first time between 2007 and 2010 and then again from 2014 to 2016 in Donetsk.
