A section of the Great Wall of China, about two meters long, collapsed after the earthquake. It is reported by the Global Times.

The natural phenomenon occurred in Qinghai province in northwest China. The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.9 points, and its epicenter was 114 kilometers from the site of the collapse. The specialists have already started repair and restoration work.

According to the newspaper, the earthquake occurred in a sparsely populated area, but tremors were felt in several large cities. As a result of the incident, nine people were injured. There was no information about the victims.

In September 2021, more than 200 tons of baijiu were leaked in the southwestern province of China, Sichuan, due to a powerful earthquake of magnitude six. The earthquake destroyed 170 porcelain vessels containing a traditional Chinese alcoholic beverage. More than 50 rescuers and nine fire trucks were involved in responding to the spill.
