The 18-year-old Spanish team player is set to stay with Barcelona until 2026. If not, it costs 1,000,000,000 euros.
FC Barcelona and the Spanish young international Pedri have agreed to extend the contract until 2026. As it became known on Thursday, the release clause in the 18-year-old's contract amounts to one billion euros. Pedri only moved five million euros from second division Las Palmas to the Catalans in summer 2020, where he had a steep career.
In his debut season, the midfielder made 53 appearances. Pedri then played for Spain at the European Championships (semi-finals) and then at the Olympics in Tokyo (final). In total, the teenager had 74 games by late summer. In the current season he is plagued with wounds.
