Earlier in the material of Channel 24 it was reported that in August the change in the size of pensions is not provided. Combatants have certain benefits and conditions for retirement, who exactly belongs to these categories is determined by the “Law on the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”.

Size pensions depend on the length of service and earnings

The amount of the pension for the UBI depends on the length of the insurance period acquired and the earnings received.

What additional payments do combatants receive:

• 25% increase the subsistence minimum established for persons who have lost their ability to work (as of now, it is 2027 hryvnia);
• target financial assistance for living in the amount of 40 hryvnia;
• monthly state allowance for the amount missing up to the minimum pension payment – 210% of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work.

Also, UBD has the right to retire early. For women – at the age of 50, however, if they have at least 20 years of insurance experience. For men, the specified age in the law is 55 years, with an insurance period of at least 25 years.

Pay attention! Combatants are persons who participated in combat missions to protect Ukraine. We are talking about military units, formations of all types and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, these are partisan detachments and the underground.
