At the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, mercenaries from PIK “Wagner” have equipped a prison. There they keep and torture volunteers, local entrepreneurs and ordinary residents.

Human rights activists found out that the invaders call this place “Energetik”. They resort to cruel torture.

Wagnerites pour a solution of chlorine under the feet of the “prisoners” in a closed cell. They are tortured with electric shocks, crushed with plastic bags, etc.

Filtration camp

In addition, the prison functions as a filtration camp. the occupiers detain the local population with entire families. There is only one option for dismissal – a cash ransom. However, this option does not work for volunteers and pro-Ukrainian activists.

Human rights activists insist on the admission of the IAEA mission to the nuclear power plant. In addition, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights should be involved in order to stop cruel torture.

Torture of ZNPP workers

Earlier Energoatom reported that the Russians were torturing ZNPP workers before the arrival of the IAEA. Russian special services use torture to prevent nuclear scientists from telling inspectors anything about the security risks at the plant.

According to media reports, the occupiers arrest Ukrainian personnel and send them “to the basement.” People come back after these “talks” and don't say a word.
