Police detained residents of the Lviv region who were looting in Irpin

Three men from the Lviv region were detained in the Zhytomyr region, who were looting in Irpin/National police

Three men were detained in the Zhytomyr region, suspected of stealing housing in Irpen.

The suspects were detained at a checkpoint at the entrance to the regional center. After checking the car, it turned out that these were residents of the Lviv region. They did not provide registration documents for the controlled vehicle. We are talking about BMW cars.

The detainees stated that they were volunteers of one of the Ukrainian battalions, but could not confirm their belonging to a volunteer battalion.

After checking, the police found jewelry in the car , money, and other valuables. In addition, law enforcement officers also found F-1 and RGD-5 grenades, which were sent for expert examination. The men could not explain the find. Therefore, all three were taken to the police station.

Subsequently, it turned out that the car belongs to a resident of Irpin, who is now abroad, as well as the jewelry and money found. Their detainees were probably abducted from the woman's home.

Therefore, law enforcement officers detained the man in accordance with Art. 208 (Detention by an authorized official) of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, and the information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. The detainees were informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
