In the Kuban, a traffic police inspector died, injured on New Year's Eve from a fireworks hit in the head. This is reported by “Rise”.

The incident occurred at about midnight on January 1 near a stationary traffic police post in the Kushchevsky district. According to unconfirmed bottom reports, the fireworks were launched by a Cossack who was on duty with the police, but the official suspect has not yet been established.

A pyrotechnic projectile hit the man's head and inflicted an open head injury. The inspector died in the hospital without regaining consciousness.

Earlier it was reported that the police lieutenant colonel was killed when the New Year fireworks were launched near Ryazan. An employee of the Department for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow fired fireworks in the backyard of a private house. The man himself installed the launcher, and during the launch of the fireworks, an explosion occurred, as a result of which he received skull injuries and died on the spot.

On December 29 of last year, master pyrotechnician Igor Alekseev said that fireworks should not be bought in an underground passage, it is better to use a specialized licensed store for these purposes. He also noted that it is important to securely fix the packaging on the ground when launching, because the most dangerous situation arises when the fireworks topple over.
