Probably, the Russians are preparing for a retreat in the Zaporozhye direction, – Gumenyuk

The Russians can prepare for a retreat in the Zaporozhye direction. This is quite likely and quite reasonable in their situation, because it is the best way out.

This was reported to Channel 24 by Natalya Gumenyuk, press secretary of the Yug Operational Command. She noticed that now the invaders are trying to create defense lines there. But this is due to the fact that they are not trained for more, and although the Russians have a lot of forces and capacities, they cannot use them to good use.

According to Gumenyuk, in this way the invaders try to catch on, stay in place and wait situations where they receive an order for a “goodwill gesture” or when the pressure of the Defense Forces is so strong that they can escape in good conscience. on the left bank

It is also known about certain movements of Russian troops on the left bank of Kherson. There, the invaders are seeing an internal imbalance in the army and demoralization, but they are not going to completely retreat yet.

As the representative of OK “South” explained, there the invaders are given the task of evacuating, leaving certain settlements, after which they are shelled and to return. This is done in order to incite the local population to oppose the Defense Forces, allegedly it is the Ukrainian troops that are shelling them.

But our people have already understood all this, they know these schemes, they clearly know how this is done. And vice versa, with the return of units to these settlements, they receive serious opposition, not only from the resistance movement, but also from ordinary locals, – Gumenyuk noted.

She added that this is why the Russians are strengthening police methods, and on during the holidays, extended curfews are introduced for several days, because they are afraid of the resistance of the local population.

  • On December 28, Russian invaders blew up a pedestrian bridge across the railway track in the temporarily occupied Pologi in Zaporozhye. Mayor Yuriy Konovalenko suggests that this was done so that people could not climb the bridge and make phone calls to the territory controlled by Ukraine, including in order to report the movement of the occupying troops.
  • On the eve of 27 December invaders suffered losses near Energodar. In the village of Novobelozerka, Ossetians were celebrating the 50th anniversary of their commander, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked them. Thus, about 100 occupiers became “200s” and “300s”, 15 of them were FSB officers.
  • Meanwhile, the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction say that the Russians have increased their activity and are transferring reserves through Mariupol to Berdyansk and Melitopol. In some areas, the enemy is gathering forces that can be assessed as offensive, but there is no specific direction or area for the offensive. The occupiers periodically change positions.
