One of the founders of the Nexta Telegram channel, Roman Protasevich, recorded a video message in which he claims that he has no health problems and is now in jail No. 1 in Minsk and is cooperating with the investigation. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
On May 23, the founder of the NEXTA Telegram channel, Roman Protasevich, was detained by Belarusian law enforcement agencies after an emergency landing of the plane of the Irish airline Ryanair, en route from Athens to Vilnius. In Belarus, Protasevich is accused of several articles, including organizing mass riots. Telegram channel NEXTA is considered by the Belarusian authorities to be extremist.
After the incident, the EU is considering introducing a ban on its aircraft to enter the airspace of Belarus. The Latvian airline AirBaltic has decided to stop flights over Belarus.
