Putin needs more

Since September 2022, the so-called partial mobilization has continued in Russia, because there was no corresponding order to stop it. Although the Kremlin notes that it is not needed. At the same time, all evidence indicates that Putin lacks manpower, so he plans to recruit another 400,000 contract soldiers into the army.

According to the media, from April 1, 2023, the second wave of recruitment of contract soldiers into the army will begin in Russia. It should be said that for this, even the Ministry of Defense of the enemy state sent documents to the regions stating the number of people who need to be called up for service.

The Kremlin denies everything

Most likely, the “Stakhanovite tasks” of recruiting people into the Russian army will be carried out by military commissariats and regional governors. For example, in the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions they should send about 10,000 people to their deaths, and in the Perm Territory – 9,000.

Moreover, residents of the Voronezh region complained that since mid-February, they began to be more actively handed subpoenas. The authorities of the region tried to explain this by the need to “exclusively update the data of military records.”

In addition, the speaker of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, generally hastened to assure that the state leadership is not planning any additional mobilization measures.

There are no such discussions in the Kremlin,” said the main mouthpiece of Putin’s messages.

No matter what they say in Moscow, however, the reality is that the Armed Forces give spankings to the occupiers every day. Therefore, it is not surprising that the “second army of the world” needs more manpower.

Putin wants to raise the draft age

  • Recall on this topic that the president of a hostile state, Vladimir Putin, supported the proposal of the Russian Defense Ministry to increase the military age to 30 years. At the same time, the ISW stated that such an initiative is aimed at attracting as many people as possible to the war against Ukraine.
  • At the same time, we note that, probably, in the first month of “partial mobilization” in Russia, which has been going on since September 21, 2022, the military registration and enlistment offices recruited about 300 thousand people into the army.
  • Although it should be said that the data are very tentative and are based on what “high-ranking officials” in the Kremlin were talking about. There is still no evidence of their words in documentary form.
