Bloomberg reports that Russia is going to recruit another 400,000 contract soldiers for the war against Ukraine. So he will try to solve one of his strategic tasks.

This was told to Channel 24 by a military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev. According to him, Russia really has a significant mobilization potential. But it is very doubtful that ordinary Russians will agree to voluntarily go to die for the whims of dictator Vladimir Putin.
