Quadripartite meeting on unblocking Ukrainian grain begins in Istanbul
On Wednesday, July 13, a meeting of delegations from Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports began in Istanbul.
This is the first talks between Ukraine and Russia with UN and Turkish officials.
This was reported by the AFP agency, citing a Turkish official.
Formerly, Defense Minister Turechiin Hulusi Akar said that the talks were coordinated with both Russian Minister Sergei Shoigu and Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.
The Turkish defense ministry expressed hope that during the meeting in Istanbul, the participants would be able to reach an agreement on the resumption of exports Ukrainian grain through seaports blocked by Russia.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister U Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba assured that Ukraine today is at the final stage of exporting Ukrainian grain to the international market. At the same time, Russia does not want to solve this problem.
