Remains of oil products are still burning in two tanks of the oil depot in Zhytomyr after an airstrike on the evening of March 7.

One of them burns quite intensely.

The process is controlled, assure the State Emergency Service of the region.

Currently, 13 lifeguards are patrolling the area and cooling nearby tanks.

As a result of an explosion in one of the tanks, three firefighters received burns to their hands and faces.

Two of them have been admitted to the hospital. There is no threat to their life and health.

On Monday, March 7, at about 20.20, airstrikes hit oil depots in Zhytomyr and the village of Chernyakhiv.

In the last settlement, two half-empty tanks with a capacity of 2 thousand cubic meters each burned. m of 17 available.

At 06.15 on March 8, the fire in Chernyakhovo was eliminated.

As of the evening of March 7, a tank with a capacity of 10 cubic meters caught fire at the oil depot in Zhytomyr. m of nine available. The fire was localized at 21.30.
