The press service of the Chinese brand has confirmed that the Vivo V20 will be the first smartphone with Android 11 preinstalled. It appears that the latest operating system will also be installed on other smartphones in the Vivo V20 Pro and V20 SE series. According to the disclosed information, the first Vivo devices will be available to consumers from India, where the devices will be presented.

At the same time, in the description of the unannounced V20 series smartphones on the brand's website, it is indicated that they run Android 10 with the FunTouch OS 11 shell. Journalists suggested that if the new Vivo flagships are subject to a two-year OS update policy, then in the future the devices will receive Android 12. and Android 13.

The latest Android 11 was originally expected to appear first on Google's flagship Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, which will launch this fall. Previously, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo and Xiaomi released beta versions of Android 11 for some of their smartphones. The release of the new Google operating system took place in early September.

The presentation of smartphones of the Vivo V20 line is expected on October 12. The cost of the series devices starts at 20,000 Indian rupees, or about 21,000 rubles.
