As the website wrote, the Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome at 15:48 Moscow time. Upper stage “Fregat” with satellites separated from the third stage of the rocket after about nine minutes. Putting the spacecraft into orbit will take approximately four hours.

At the moment, this is the eighth launch of British communications satellites OneWeb. This launch should bring the number of spacecraft in orbit to 254.
