Manchester United will visit Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday. The Red Devils made the short trip by plane.
The Red Devils boarded the plane for just 120 kilometers as the crow flies between Manchester and Leicester. As the “Sun” reports, the club of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo used a private jet on Friday afternoon.
The decision to get on the plane was made after the M6 motorway was temporarily closed on Friday afternoon. Therefore, the association canceled the originally planned bus trip. According to the report, the flight should have been particularly short. The journey to Leicester would have taken just ten minutes.
Before the flight, however, a United star, Bruno Fernandes, had shown himself to be environmentally conscious. The 27-year-old Portuguese drove up to the airport in his electric Porsche. For the Red Devils, ideal match preparation obviously took precedence over environmental concerns. But the decision was not rewarded. Against Leicester it was a 2: 4 bankruptcy.
