It is planned to fully deploy the new orbital station in two stages until 2035, his words are quoted on the official website of the state corporation on Sunday, April 25.
Vladimir Solovyov, First Deputy General Director of the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia and Head of the ISS Russian Segment Flight, said that the new station would be assembled in two stages, the second of which will take place from 2030 to 2035.
Recall that the Russian Federation plans to withdraw from the ISS project from 2025 and build its national station in orbit.
On the eve of the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said that the first module of the new Russian orbital station will be ready for launch in 2025. The base module will be the Science and Power Module for the International Space Station.
