The second spent stage of the Chinese launch vehicle can enter the Earth's atmosphere south of Indonesia in the Timor Sea region, the press service of Roscosmos said.
– According to calculations as of May 8, the object can enter the atmosphere after 02:30 am Moscow time on May 9 south of Indonesia in the Timor Sea region, – TASS quotes the words of representatives of the state corporation.
The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin announced today, May 8, about the largest recorded stage deceleration. According to him, the step has lost 50 kilometers at its apogee and 10 kilometers at perigee, “which is several times higher than the dynamics of the previous days.”
He also noted in his Telegram channel that the stage will enter the atmosphere today: from 02:34 am to 08:28 am on May 9
