Roscosmos refused to disclose the cost of the flight of the movie crew to the ISS

State Corporation Roscosmos did not disclose information about how much the preparation and flight of actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko to the ISS for the filming of the film “Challenge” cost. The agency refused to comment on NEWS.ru on the statement of the pilot-cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko that the price of the flight was 2 billion rubles.

The budget of the film “Challenge” and the cost of training and flight of the film crew to the ISS have not yet been specified. It is known that the state support for the project is provided by the Cinema Fund (FC), but there is still no information from which sources and in what shares the official partners of the project finance the shooting – Channel One, Studio Yellow, Black and White and Roscosmos. All of them did not respond to inquiries from journalists.

Recall that on October 5 Peresild and Shipenko arrived on the ISS, where until October 17 they will be shooting the film “Challenge”. After they will return to Earth, where they will continue to work on the film.

Earlier, cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko spoke about the cost of the flight, who estimated it at 2 billion rubles. He also noted that the acting crew of the ISS could have made the film on their own.
