“We have reason to say that Russia wants to attack Ukraine in the next weeks, the next days. We think they will attack Kiev. There are 2.8 million people there. We are talking about this not because we want conflict, but because to eliminate any grounds that could be used by the Russians to justify their actions ,” Biden said.

Recall that despite the statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense allegedly about the withdrawal of part of the troops from the Ukrainian borders, Biden stressed that the risk of Russia's invasion of Ukraine remains “very high.” According to him, Russia could attack Ukraine in the next few days.
