Rescuers eliminated the fire that broke out in the apartment on the ground floor. The analysis of the destroyed parts of the structures has already been completed.

Mayor of Kramatorsk Alexander Goncharenko informed:

  • 25 apartment buildings and one private house were damaged,
  • kindergarten,
  • museum and administration building.

Opened a case

The prosecutor's office has already opened the case. Law enforcement officers carry out a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war.

The pre-trial investigation continues. People who have witnessed a war crime are urged to record everything and send the data to the Attorney General's Office.

Note! On the evening of February 1, Russia fired an Iskander-K ballistic missile at Kramatorsk and hit a residential building in the city center. As a result of the attack, 4 people were killed. Another 8 were injured.

Zelensky's reaction

President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to the family of the deceased person. He stressed that the evil state continues to fight with the civilian population, destroying life and leaving nothing human.

Every blow that takes an innocent life must result in a legal and just sentence for murder. Yes, it will definitely be, Zelensky stressed.
