Russia decided to stop working on the ISS by 2025

Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that by 2025 Russia will refuse to participate in the International Space Station (ISS) project.

According to the media, Russia will decide to continue operating the ISS after 2024. She will warn foreign partners about this.

The vice-premier’s office noted that the ISS had long since expired. Now the state of the station leaves much to be desired. In addition, in recent years, various technical malfunctions have been reported more and more often. Russia intends to conduct a technical survey of the ISS to avoid any risks in case of emergencies.

TASS also notes that on April 12, at a meeting with Putin, the issue of the advisability of continuing Russia's participation in the International Space Station project was discussed.
