Russia requires university professors to give part of their salaries for the war against Ukraine

Teachers should give 10% of their salary to kill Ukrainians.

Employees of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University are being forced to “voluntarily” donate part of their salaries to the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine.

This is reported by the public “Sanctions in the Russian Federation”.

According to the report, the management of the institution of higher education obliged the employees to sign statements requesting the withholding of 3,000 rubles. (about UAH 1,500) from the salary for the needs of the “special operation”.

At the same time, the average salary in an educational institution is 35 thousand rubles. (about UAH 17,500). University employees are forced to give a tenth of their earnings to the war against Ukraine.

It is noted that the management of the educational institution demanded from employees not to disclose the fact of collecting “voluntary donations”.

Recall that at the same time, in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, local authorities began sending summonses to the military registration and enlistment offices, allegedly to “update military records.”
