Russian special services planned anti-Ukrainian protests in France and Belgium – Polish media
In particular, the protests will be held under the slogan #StopKillingDonbass and against arms supplies to Ukraine.
The Russian intelligence services are planning to use their agents in France and Belgium to organize anti-Ukrainian demonstrations against the supply of combat aircraft to the state.
This is reported by the Polish edition of Nowiny Polskie.
The material says that the protests will be organized in response to Poland's decision to transfer the first four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
In order to make the protests look massive, propaganda will use footage of demonstrations in France against pension reform, which are still ongoing. At the same time, the organizers of anti-Ukrainian actions will try to gather their few “supporters” near the epicenters of anti-government rallies.
So, the Polish edition clarified that the Russian special services plan to support the holding of three anti-Ukrainian actions – in Paris on March 18, Toulouse on March 19 and Brussels on April 4.
Protests in Paris are being organized by Florian Filippo, an ex-ally of the pro-Russian French politician Marine Le Pen . He had previously called on social media to protest against Poland's decision on combat aircraft for Ukraine. The politician argued this by the fact that Warsaw allegedly thus involves the EU and NATO in the war with Russia. Filippo has also openly called Ukrainians “Nazis” and actively promotes Russian narratives.
The publication noted that in February 2023, the French politician had already carried out a similar action with the slogans “No third world!” , “Leaving NATO” and “No arms supplies to Ukraine” . This action was actively replicated in the Russian mass media.
The article of the Polish publication also notes that from 2012 to 2017, Filippo served as vice president of the National Front party and was involved in a scandal with a political force loan for his election campaign from the First Czech-Russian Bank, which is controlled by Gennady Timchenko – a close friend Russian President Vladimir Putin .
At the same time, the organizer of the anti-Ukrainian protests on March 19 in Toulouse and April 4 near the NATO headquarters in Brussels is Anna Novikova, head of the Russophones of the Pyrenees organization, a citizen of France and Russia.
“Participants will demand that French and European politicians take into account their electronic petition on the website of the French Parliament to lift the sanctions imposed against Russia ,” the Polish media said.
They added that the demonstrations of pro-Russian forces will be held under the slogan #StopKillingDonbass and against the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Participation in these actions is planned to be taken by persons who previously, as journalists and observers, were in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and covered events in favor of the Russian Federation.
Recall that in mid-March a group of Russian spies was exposed in Poland. According to the head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mariusz Kaminsky, they managed to detain nine people who collaborated with the Russian FSB and planned to paralyze the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
