Russian spies exposed in Poland planned to paralyze the supply of weapons and equipment to Ukraine - Ministry of Internal Affairs

The suspects were supposed to prepare for sabotage in order to prevent the supply of equipment, weapons and assistance to Ukraine.

Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminsky announced on March 16 that nine people had been detained who collaborated with the Russian FSB and planned to paralyze arms supplies to Ukraine.

Kaminsky clarified that, according to the investigation, the detainees carried out intelligence activities in Poland and prepared “acts of sabotage at the request of Russian intelligence.”

“Evidence suggests that the group monitored railway routes . Its tasks included recognizing, monitoring and documenting vehicles with weapons delivered to Ukraine. The suspects were also supposed to prepare for sabotage activities in order to paralyze the supply of equipment, weapons and assistance to Ukraine “, – said the Polish minister.

He specified that the prosecutor's office charged the six detainees with espionage and participation in an organized criminal group. Trials are ongoing for the other three detainees.

Recall, on the eve of the Polish media reported that the state secret services exposed a spy network that worked for Russia. A group of six people planned to prepare for sabotage activities in Poland, including on the railways and roads through which weapons are transported for Ukraine.

On March 16, Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak announced the elimination of a spy network that collected information in favor of the Russian Federation.
