Russian tanks compared to junk: subtle trolling from the US Embassy in Kyiv
American diplomats accompanied the World Recycling Day message with a picture showing a Ukrainian tractor pulling a wrecked Russian tank.
On Saturday, March 18, on the occasion of World Recycling Day, the US Embassy in Ukraine published a message on Twitter, which “trolled” the state of Russian military equipment, which turns into secondary raw materials on the battlefield.
American diplomats accompanied their message with a picture showing a Ukrainian tractor pulling a wrecked Russian tank.
As we celebrate World Recycle Day, let's reflect on what we can do to reduce waste, reuse items and restore the health of our planet.

As you know, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the whole world mocked the Russians, whose military equipment was stretched by economic Ukrainian peasants with the help of peaceful agricultural equipment. World manufacturers of children's toys have even started selling new items: a Ukrainian tractor pulls an armored car with the letter Z.
Subsequently, the sketch for the stamp “Good evening, we are from Ukraine” was a tractor pulling a tank.
Recall that at the end of February 2023, on the plain near the mining town of Ugledar, the largest tank battle in the entire war unleashed by the Kremlin in Ukraine took place. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army lost at least 130 tanks and armored personnel carriers.
