Russians are being mobilized right on the border with Georgia: they started issuing subpoenas
Directly on the border with Georgia, the Russian task force began issuing subpoenas to Russian citizens liable for military service.
Now, about 5.5 thousand cars are waiting in line at the border between Russia and Georgia. Crossing the border on foot is allowed at the Upper Lars checkpoint.
The Russian propaganda publication TASS reported on the issuance of subpoenas, citing the press service of the head and government of North Ossetia.
“On On the border with Georgia, a conscription task force is working, including representatives of the military registration and enlistment office and representative authorities. They check on the road whether a person is liable for military service, whether he is subject to conscription,” the published information says.
< p>So, if there is confirmation that a Russian citizen is subject to conscription, he is handed a summons.
Recall that after the announcement of mobilization in the Russian Federation, on September 21, huge queues gathered at the Russian-Georgian border wishing to leave the country. Thus, gigantic traffic jams formed at the Upper Lars checkpoint.
On September 26, all customs posts of Georgia were transferred to a special mode of operation, an armored personnel carrier appeared at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian side of the border with military men who undertook to set up a checkpoint .
