This was told by the head of the Luhansk Police Department Sergei Gaidai. He said that now the fighting continues in the area of ​​Belogorivka and Novokonstantinovka.

The defenders of the Luhansk region are doing important work

Sergei Gaidai stressed that the longer the defenders of the Lugansk region hold back the enemy, the more it plays into the hands of our military, who are strengthening their positions in the Donetsk region. The head of the OVA stressed that the infidels are not able to put the squeeze on our heroes, but they are already reporting on allegedly complete control over the region.

Fighting continues in the area of ​​Belogorovka and Novokonstantinovka. The occupiers are trying to put pressure on our Defense Forces, but so far they are not succeeding,” Gaidai stressed.

The head of the UVA stressed that this was not the first time that the occupiers were lying, so he was not surprised by the statement about the complete seizure of the Luhansk region. The reason for such a lie Gaidai calls the desire to somehow justify the defeat of his troops.

Sergei Gaidai stressed that the capture of almost the entire territory of the Luhansk region was very expensive for the Russian invaders and they suffered insane losses in human and technical resources. Therefore, their offensive potential has been significantly reduced.

The situation in the Luhansk region

On July 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces announced the withdrawal of troops from Lisichansk, the last large city in the region. This decision had to be made to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. However, the General Staff emphasized that they would certainly return to Lisichansk.

The Russian invaders managed to cross the Seversky Donets, they are gaining a foothold in Lisichansk and in the Belogorovka area.

Belogorovka and Novokonstantinovka, where the fighting is going on, remain the last settlements of the Lugansk region that are not occupied by Russians and militants.
