Russian invaders expand their presence Sumy region. They began to dig in in many communities of the region.

This was told by the chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky. According to him, the southern part of the Sumy region has already been liberated from the invaders.

Zhivitsky said that previously only the southern part of the Sumy region was occupied by invaders. Now they are starting to dig in in many communities.

They are starting to look for local authorities. We understand that this is the beginning of the occupation of the central part of the Sumy region, – said the chairman of the UVA.

According to him, the southern part of the Sumy region has already been liberated from the invaders, but the accumulation of troops near Konotop and partially in the Sumy region continues.< /p>

“Starting from the border with the Russian Federation, the Belopolskaya community, Borinskaya, Putivlskaya, Novaya Sloboda and further to Konotop – a very difficult situation. More than a thousand pieces of Russian equipment, clashes periodically occur, artillery shelling of our settlements is carried out,” – summed up Zhivitsky.
