Around the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region, there are fierce battles between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the invaders. In Russia, they hastened to declare that they allegedly captured Soledar, but this is not true.

Sergei Cherevaty, a representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the situation in the city. He said that the Ukrainian military are in Soledar and are repulsing the Russian army.

The defense forces are constantly working out on the invaders

The situation is the same as yesterday. Our units are located there (in Soledar – Channel 24) and constantly hit the enemy with fire, – said Cherevaty.

The speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 16 also refuted the lies of the invaders about the alleged capture of Soledar. He noted that our units are fighting there, causing constant damage to the enemy and the invaders will suffer losses.

The fact that our soldiers are destroying the invaders was also reported by the commander of a separate tactical aerial reconnaissance group SARG “Madyar Birds” with the call sign “Madyar “. In particular, on January 16, there were three “pops” in the warehouses of the invaders in Soledar.

The Ukrainian military is working on the Russians with artillery. Aerial reconnaissance personnel are also actively working there.
